What I’m Wearing: Spring Walmart Favs

Happy Monday!

Sharing a couple of recent finds from Walmart that might be something you’d like to pick up, too.

(not sponsored/not commissioned)

First up – both dresses I wore for Easter were from Walmart.  It ended up to be a chilly weekend, and I was glad to have sleeved dress for Sunday. I had seen this eyelet dress online in navy, my order got cancelled, then I happened upon it one day on the clearance rack in store.  Here’s the link, Time and Tru Long Sleeve Eyelet dress, and maybe it will come back in stock or you’ll find it in store. I’m 5’9″ wearing a medium, and it is definitely more of a 3/4 sleeve for me and on the shorter side of length.

Saturday for Easter with my family, I ended up twinning with my twin nieces. My dress was last year’s version, but their dresses are this year and still available in both white and pink. Here’s the link:  Time and Tru Women’s Flutter Sleeve Eyelet Dress. It’s hard to beat a white dress for spring and summer!

Seems like the shorts trend for 2023 is going for a longer inseam, and I’m here for it.  I love cutoff jean shorts, and struggle sometimes to find a pair that fit my legs and are appropriate length for a grown-up.  I saw these in store and knew they would immediately be a pair I would like. I sized up because they are high waist and I don’t like tight shorts.  They are a 3.5″ inseam.  Here’s the link:  Under $15 cutoffs, and they come in several colors/washes.  These will be on repeat this year!

I have been on the hunt for cotton (not cotton knit) pajamas, and they have been hard to find! Early spring I saw Walmart had tops/cropped pants pieces, but I don’t like pajama pants.  So, I held off. I saw another round of prints show up in store and checked online, and the shorts were there — and it showed them in store as well.  Truth: I ordered these online (without Walmart +) and they showed up the same day delivered to me, I assume b/c in stock in my local store – I don’t know. But, I’ll take free delivery and not having to go to store! Here are the links, pajama shorts and pajama top, I ended up with a small in the shorts and medium in top.  There are lots of cute prints, and I love that lilac is having a moment this year!! Last, if you do like sleep pants, here’s the link to cropped pants that match.

I love colored T’s in the spring and have always loved stripes. Free Assembly has cute t’s this year, they are $10 and come in a few color patterns.  Here’s the link, cropped t, and for reference, I ordered a medium. They aren’t super cropped like some others I’ve seen.

Last dress I found on the clearance when looking at pajamas online. This dress is Free Assembly and here’s the link: Button shoulder mini dress, and you should know…it has pockets! 🙂 It’s currently on sale for $15 and there are a couple of different prints.  I love to wear dresses in the spring/summer and have been looking for dresses that can be worn with my boots, dress shoes (heels, flats, sandals) and sneakers. Prepare to see this one with all three!  Dropped waist is a good fit for me, so I loved this ruffle around bottom of this dress as well. Perfect for another chilly Sunday with my boots! Hubs looking good in his new blazer found at Rodeo Houston this year!

Cheers to a few fun spring colorful finds! I am so glad to see the era of everything neutral seems to be out of the stores and color has returned!!

Blessings,
Angie

I have those pajamas with the cropped pants and love them. The cotton (not knit!) is so cool to sleep in. Walmart has had the best clothes lately!
