#Write31Days – Oct 30 – Story
It is hard to believe 30 days have come and gone of the #Write31Days challenge. I honestly wasn’t sure I would make it, that I could come up with 31 days of things to say. I’ve written most days on the actual day, aside from a couple of days I knew I would be out of town/not at the computer. I’ve learned a lot about myself, had a lot of great conversations with friends who read my blog and one crazy day a re-tweet brought 1500 readers to my blog.
I wish I could count how many times I’ve heard the song “Unfolding” by Steven Curtis Chapman this month, it seems to be on the radio over and over when I’m in my car, and comes on just when I feel a hint of doubt, a little bit down, some sort of why question, what-ifs playing through my head…a lot goes on in a month’s time.
Take a rest from the fight
Don’t try to figure it out
Just listen to what I’m whispering to your heart
‘Cause I know this is not
Anything like you thought
The story of your life was gonna be
And it feels like the end has started closing in on you
But it’s just not true
There’s so much of the story that’s still yet to unfold
And this is going to be a glorious unfolding

You’ve just got to believe the story is so far from over
So hold on to every promise God has made to us
And watch this glorious unfolding
God’s plan from the start
For this world and your heart
Has been to show His glory and His grace
Forever revealing the depth and the beauty of
His unfailing Love
And the story has only begun
