Since it’s Friday (on Saturday) I’ll start with football! I love football games…High School, College and Professional! My school is in their Inaugural Varsity Football season and I have lots of players in my classes so it is fun to watch! Also know a kid playing for the Longhorns this year, I’ve always loved Aggie football and of course the Houston Texans! Show your own style with your game day colors – add in a favorite accessory…mine is a leopard belt. Texans tank from TJMaxx ($12.99!!), check them and Marshall’s for lots of game day attire!
PUMPKIN
I started September with one of my all time favorite things my Mom makes…Pumpkin Roll, read up on some fall treats by the pool that afternoon and my sweet school bestie gave me pumpkin treats + cider candle on Tuesday! Keep an eye out for Pumpkin Recipes via Party with the Parks, maybe she will share her famous pumpkin chocolate chip cookies!
VERSES
There’s always a few verses that speak to me in different seasons…these are a couple of my current favorites. I’ve just finished Kelly Minter’s Wherever the River Runs this week and am not sure which book I will start next from my Fall Reading List. Also, working through Beth Moore’s 90 Days with Jesus devotional. Top to bottom…Ephesians 1:2, Habakkuk 3:19 and Isaiah 26:3.
BRACELETS
If you’ve only read one other post here, you have probably figured out I love words…and these bracelets are simple statements. They are made by Good Work(s) Make A Difference and they donate 25% of net profits to charitable causes such as its Tools for School Campaign—an initiative to provide 10,000 backpacks and school supplies to low-income students. It’s a win win purchase! Click here to see the colors and words available, of course the green is my favorite!
BABIES
I’ve always loved little babies, lots of people aren’t fans of the newborn, but I love a tiny baby. And, a baby after a bath in footed jammies is one of my all time favorites. It’s been a long time since the Littles were babies and I’ve been blessed to spend time with this sweet family
over the summer. Got to babysit just little sister while brother went to Kindergarten orientation and was reading stories after bath time. She also has the most beautiful auburn hair.
PUFFER VEST
Despite not loving the cold weather, I love a good jacket, coat and vest. My favorite this fall is camo! This one is a perfect neutral for all occasions…I start craving time in the country in the fall, maybe target practice with the gun my Dad got for me, bonfires, ranches or this would even be great for game days! It’s from JCrew Factory and I stalked them daily for markdowns + extra off promotion codes!
PROJECTS
I’ve been a little crafty lately…couple of mini-canvases I made for my college besties who are going through hard seasons and I attended a Faith and the Arts class at my church, Bayou City Fellowship, and drew the “Your love knows no end” on our doodle page for the session. Picked up a simple frame at Aaron Brothers and it’s new words for my house! Those words are lyrics from one of my favorite songs by Hillsong. Also, can of spray paint changed simple frames to metallic and I have 5×5 cards I picked up on vacation with great quotes and sayings framed for my wall. Finally, a couple of new signs I got for my birthday. Now to get them all arranged and hanging…
LEOPARD PUMPS
I just about wore out my leopard pumps from last year and I’ve been searching for a new pair…I finally decided on these…they are from BCBG and I’m embracing the cut-out trend too! Since leopard is such a great neutral, these will go with practically everything!
THE NOONDAY COLLECTION
I’m really excited to be launching as a Noonday Collection Ambassador! I have the opportunity to share jewelry and accessories crafted around the world by Artisans who are offered means out of a poverty stricken life. You can shop via my site here:
Angie for Noonday, or I would love for you to host a trunk show! Stay tuned for my launch of the line in a couple of weeks! Here’s a few pieces from the collection I am in love with and wearing regularly…
DESK QUOTES
I found this box of quotes in the Target gifts section and picked it up for my desk at school. It’s a perfect thought for the day and I’m going to use some of these with my classes as well. There’s over 200 quotes in this box with the cute display and it was only $10, not available online, but you can see what store near you has them in stock via
target.com! And,
I do love the little things!
What are your favorites?
Hi friend! Did you make that pumpkin roll? If so, I would love to have the recipe.
