2017 Every day. (11.19.17)
I love taking pictures, the every day, the mundane, the big, the fun, the celebrating, even the hard. Images I want to remember. So, this year, I’m documenting my everyday. A photo a day for my FB/IG and then writing the stories of each on my blog weekly.

Sunday evening I was driving to The Five, our evening service at church and the sky was amazing. I don’t love the 5:30 sunset of winter, but there are some beautiful late afternoon skies in the fall and winter months.

Every now and then Auggie spies something out of place like a box on the table, or a bag on the counter that he has a fit over and barks fiercely at it to warn of his presence. Ha! This particular night I had out the tape measure which I guess he’s never seen before and definitely had to exercise his authority and alert to his presence.
Because I didn’t have an alarm clock waking me up, did some late night fun reading.

Tuesday was one of my favorite days of the year, hair day! I get highlights, but only once every 6 or 7 months, so it’s a definite treat! My favorite part? The hair washing. I’ve never had a blow-out from one of the blow dry bars, and leave with my hair wet from salon, but if I could just stop in for my hair to be washed?! Heaven! Also, I love sitting under this dryer with a book for a few minutes too! #treatyoself
I also got to have breakfast with a dear friend and check out the new Warby Parker store before my hair appointment.

The week of Thanksgiving Break was absolutely glorious weather days in Texas. I went home for Thanksgiving and we spent a lot of time in the back yard playing w/ my nephew + nieces and Auggie got to be outside too. I’m working on teaching him “come” and letting him be free outside.
He was whipped in the evenings after all that fresh air!

Grateful. Also, I wore this shirt every day for 5 days which is another post for another day. 🙂 We had a full table at the 4G with family and a delicious meal of favorites plus desserts.
We got outside again in the afternoon and worked off our lunch, or at least earned the second helping of dessert.

Friday evening I was home, took a break to read and of course had Hallmark channel on. Auggie was whipped from the trip and he took a couple of days to recover on the couch. I’m going to do a book review in a couple of weeks and catch up on what I’ve squeezed in for reading this year between my grad school classes.

Saturday night I went out with one of my college besties to see a friend’s band play. And, yes, that’s a tank top, because Texas winter. 80-degrees in the day, and 50’s or 60’s at night. By the time we left and got outside it was pretty chilly!
