#write31days | October 27

Today was one of those days.
An absolutely glorious day.
The clearest blue sky.

There has been so much rain here recently.
The sun hasn’t been shining.
The temperatures have still been mostly high.

But, not today.
It was also a day with no plans except a walk with a bestie.

The day felt like a gift.

I soaked it up.
Temps started in the 50’s.
My patio door was open most of the day.
I had coffee on the porch plus a little bit of reading.
I walked 7+ miles on the trails.
(Don’t worry, Auggie didn’t walk that far!)

Sometimes when the pace of life gets a little hectic, a day like this feels like a reset.
I don’t know what a glorious day would look like for you.
Maybe it’s a day entirely by yourself.
Maybe it’s no one saying your name or asking you for anything.
Maybe it’s a day packed full of favorites.
Glorious looks different for each of us.

For me, today it was a simple sunshine reminder.
To find glorious.
To reset.
And, to #doitagain.
