Sunday Style. Memorial Day weekend seemed appropriate for my camo skirt. And, of course stripes is my favorite pattern pairing…floral, leopard, camo…stripes go!

When I lived out in Katy I used to use the library all the time, and FINALLY, nearly 1.5 years later I’ve gotten signed up and am using the local library again. I quit buying books several years ago unless it’s a book I can learn something from and am subject to highlight/underline/turn down the page. Otherwise, I’m checking it out at the library. Hilarious conversation at work recently with a co-worker when I said I had to stop and turn in a library book….her response “who uses the library”…..ummm…this girl! 🙂 You should too! Set your account up online, put books in the queue, they email when it’s ready for pick-up, and you’re in and out!

Wednesday night was the annual meeting for Rodeo Houston and new Directors were announced. I got to hang out with one of my favorite people and a dear friend I met through teaching, but because of Rodeo.

On Fridays I stop for breakfast, but this week starts my Friday’s off, so that means Thursday’s at Whataburger! This girl should be their employee of the year. I go through the drive through and when I say # of my order, she knows it’s me and goes ahead to say the rest of my order, including changes. Just when you think all manners of customer service are lost (looking at you AT&T Cable) there’s still people in the world who take time and clearly, she loves her job! And, I love me some Whataburger. If you’re not from here, you’re missing out!

Friday night I met a bestie for a lap at Memorial Park followed by dinner at Beck’s. They do burgers and if you read last week, I love burgers. Also, it turned out to be a really nice evening outside after a day of rain! #earnedit

I’ve never been a good test taker. In fact, it’s still a miracle to me I passed all of my Texas Education Certifications on the first try. I was honestly prepared not to, because I’m just not a good test taker. So, I’m grateful for open book tests in this grad school life, as it takes away a lot of my test anxiety! However, a fully online class is not my learning style, so still a bit of a challenge for me! I only have 2 of these online classes though, thank goodness!!

Saturday was a rainy and lazy afternoon around here. Auggie was clearly still catching up on his rest after an outing to the groomer.
