Home For the Holidays: February 2023
February is a full month of celebrating around our house starting with our anniversary, then Valentine’s Day and wrapping up with Cody’s birthday. I love pink, red, hearts, love, birthdays and all things February!
Here’s a look around our home and a peek into the celebrating….
Starting with seasonal favorite, the tiered tray on our table.

I found these fun felt envelopes at Hobby Lobby and added them in this year. As a lover of snail mail, I thought they were a cute addition to the February decor.

The counter tops have a few different Valentine things around. If you have ever heard our Peanut Butter story, you’ll know why I couldn’t pass up this little PB&J decoration! Marriage tip: you might need two brands of PB in your house, and that makes a happy house.

The other counters have a couple of different hearts/sayings

The living room side tables also have little bit of February decor

I’ve never met a holiday/theme pillow I didn’t love…

Of course we love our fireplace and a few more hearts…Dollar Tree finds strung together for a $1.25 banner last year still going strong this year.

And, last the bookshelves got a little February love, too.
That car was too cute to pass up for $5 at Target this year!

We celebrated our Anniversary (read all about it here) at home, and these beautiful flowers were a perfect additional decoration and certainly brightened up my work days.

Church had a fun photo spot celebrating February, too!

We also celebrated Valentine’s Day at home.

Chicken parm + caesar salads were on the menu and we set the full table, a fav for me.
Next up was Cody’s birthday! I can never resist an occasion for balloons. We made a bet on how long those balloons will last, so far, they are still going strong!

Dollar ($1.25) Tree always for the win on mylar balloons!
We gathered at the table with our families to celebrate his birthday.

And we wrapped up all of the February celebrations with a date night our to our favorite, Taste of Texas.

It was a sweet month of celebrating. Now, Let’s Rodeo, Houston!
Blessings,
Angie
