I love taking pictures, the every day, the mundane, the big, the fun, the celebrating, even the hard. Images I want to remember. So, this year, I’m documenting my everyday. A photo a day for my FB/IG and then writing the stories of each on my blog weekly.

Sunday I met my Dad for lunch after church, while my Mom was out of town for a trip. One of the many things my Dad has taught me, never turn down a complimentary scoop of BlueBell Ice Cream!
We also did some texting practice with taking and sending photos. 🙂

Monday night I whipped up one of my favorite casserole recipes from the the kitchen of a dear friend. Auggie is always hanging around when I’m cooking in case there’s a little cleanup that needs to happen if anything drops….

Tuesday after work I made a deal with myself, write my paper and submit it early, then watch a couple of This is Us episodes stores on my DVR! So, I did it! I ended up watching 3 episodes. And, yes, I like a salad in a serving bowl.

Wednesday night in class, in the midst of a gender pay gap discussion that I checked out of and started working on my other class mid-term….
Wednesday morning I went to a networking breakfast at the Dunlavy (2nd pic) which is such a pretty restaurant space with their chandeliers, fresh flowers and family style dining tables. But, even prettier? The sunrise that morning! This is looking towards downtown Houston and the water in the picture is still where the Bayou is a bit high from Harvey.

Thursday night I had a rookie meeting for one of my Rodeo Committees and these are a few of the committee leadership I get to work with and several are dear friends too!
Thank goodness for my Plexus Pink Drink in the mornings because I’ve been pulling long days with lots of homework time in the evenings!
Was fun to get out for a bit at the meeting, but homework calls and I worked a few hours when I got home. And, had a little cake with my spreadsheet modeling for a nightcap….

I always pick up breakfast on Friday mornings. The rest of the week I eat yogurt with cheerios for breakfast, so Friday is my treat. When I got to work my row was having a stellar morning of McDonalds, Whataburger and even though that OJ isn’t labeled as such, Burger King! A fast food tri-fecta! And, after we had taken this picture another teammate came in with ChickFilA!
Friday after work I laid down on my couch for a few, Friday Nap is one of my favorite indulgences, but I didn’t nap this week, just rested for a bit. Until Auggie decided it was time to go for a walk and stood over me until I got up!
And, my Friday night was once again spent with the spreadsheets. This time with a little coffee, because #nationalcoffeeday.

Saturday night I turned on the Aggie game and apparently the touchdown that was called back and then scored again caught Auggie’s attention as well. Even though I’m not an Aggie, I’ve always loved Aggie football, and it was good to see them get a win Saturday! I need to get myself to a game, it’s been a couple of years since I’ve been!
