Happy Wednesday!
Here’s a few outfits I’ve been wearing lately….
It is no secret I love jeans + t, and especially flare jeans. I had a rodeo meeting/luncheon and I paired a T from the Light Blonde with my standby Gap flares and a blazer for lunch. I layered a stone cross and large concho necklace on pearls string and added a leopard belt for a little extra color. When I recently left my house due to Harvey, these jeans were in the car with me as “must save” in the event my house flooded. 😐
If I had to choose only a few things to wear, I would choose black tops, white t’s and jeans. And, then I would want all of my accessories, shoes and boots! haha! I picked this white v-neck up in the Target pajama section, it is SO soft and a little shorter than the other v-necks I have so perfect for half-tuck paired with jeans. Also, these pink blush slip-on loafers? I got them a couple of weeks ago at Nordstrom Rack and have probably already worn them at least 10 times!
See. here they are again, and this time with a black top. Channeling my inner Johnny Cash in black on black. I picked this top up at the Rack as well, the sleeves are 3/4 length with a slight flare and the back has a fun v. I like this top because it works for work and will be cute for evenings/weekends as well.
I’ve been watching the cropped flare trend for a while now, but haven’t jumped on board. I happened to see these pants at Marshall’s, they are by Cynthia Rowley and were $19.99, so I decided to give them a try in the fitting room. And, I love them! They have a sewn pleat, I love a good crease, (#starchjeansforever) and are a great black fabric. I’m also loving the floral patterns of fall and the bell sleeve trend, and I’m finding it’s much easier to find a long sleeve blouse that fits my sleeve length! So, if you’re a tall girl, search out the bell sleeves!
That’s it for this week, see you tomorrow!
