What I Wore Wednesday
We have finally seen a little bit of cooler temps here so I got out my leather jacket for work one day last week. I’ve had this jacket from the Gap for a long time, likely nearly 10 years. It is one of those classics, that hasn’t gone out of style yet. I paired it with simple black Old Navy top with curved hem, gray cargo-ish pants and booties. I wore silver layered necklace and favorite Kendra Scott gunmetal earrings. I picked these up one day a couple of years ago on a 50% off rack in a boutique and I have definitely gotten my money’s worth. I wear these earrings a ton!
Last weekend I was at the Plexus Leaders Retreat and these are a few outfits I wore.
This top again? Yep. See, work, gray jeans and now flare jeans. It is for sure a favorite this fall!!
The evenings were themed, Pirate themed Halloween Party on Saturday night (left) and Havana themed Welcome Party (right). My pirate costume includes “regular” clothes, a cold shoulder top I picked up on my Nashville trip (here) and these striped bells I’ve worn before (here). Add a belt, bandana head-wrap, sword + eye patch I got at Disney and extra eye makeup for my kind of costume. The Havana Party dress is from the Lily for Target collection a couple of years ago.
Middle picture was daytime session and I wore this same black top with fun back, gray jeans and booties. Truth be told, I packed the wrong gray jeans, but it all worked out ok.
This week at work we’ve been able to wear jeans in support of our Astros with either Astros t’s or colors (navy + orange). You better believe I’m on that train!! I love the Astros, have watched them for years including their last time at the World Series and we believe this year they will #earnhistory! But, we all know I. LOVE. JEANS. 🙂 Tuesday for Game 1 I wore my long standing gingham shirt + Gap flares, with leopard heels and a fun orange truck necklace that I don’t wear too often, but was perfect for Tuesday.
Wednesday (today) I wore what looks like black blazer in pic, but is navy and pinstripe, with skinny jeans and tiered ruffle top. The orange necklace was a gift a few years ago from a friend and perfect for my navy + orange combo today! Jeans are Calvin Klein I’ve posted lots, from Marshall’s.
